Alexander Millar - Daybreak
I left school at the age of sixteen on a Friday. By the following Monday I found myself serving a three year apprenticeship as a joiner in Troon on the west coast of Scotland. I had wanted to be a luvvie and hit the theatre but my father wasn’t having any of that: “You’re gonna learn a trade and that’s an end to it”.
